Diokere Endam Group's story

The DIOKORE ENDAM solidarity group was created May 31, 2007. It is composed of 13 women, who hail from the same neighborhood. Most members are active in retail.

Mrs. AIDA, who is standing all the way to the right of the picture, is the group's leader. She is married and a mother of five children who go to school. She is 40 years old.

She retails thioup and wax fabrics (West-African dyed fabrics). She has been active in this business for four years. She was in the same business for the previous loan.

With this loan, she is going to purchase fabrics and thioup. Her objective is to support her husband in taking care of the children's school expenses and to increase her level of savings in the "Banc Villageois" (loan group).
