Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The “Mujeres Emprendedoras” (Enterprising Women) committee was formed by several neighbors from the city of Limpio. All the members work independently in activities like sales, fast food preparation and grocery stores. The members form a much unified group that’s capable of carrying out group activities that strengthen their companionship.

Petrona is one of the committee members. She sells miscellaneous articles: brooms, notions and detergent. She is a very creative woman and her customers are amazed at her work. She has two children and her husband works in construction, he’s a bricklayer. She is very happy with her work and with the training she gets in the group.

She is asking for the loan to buy miscellaneous merchandise like gifts, clothes, stationery, stuffed toys as well as more variety of brooms.
