Monica is the leader of this group of entrepreneurs. Born 34 years ago in Freetown city, Monica is married and has three children. For 15 years now, Monica has been selling plastic bowls, cotton cloths, slippers and more. She will use her share of the loan (SLL 2,000,000) to expand her business; she will buy plastic bowls, cotton cloths, slippers, etc., in large quantities to add to her business.

This is not the first loan that Monica and her group members have applied for from SMT/Kiva lenders. With the help of their previous SMT/Kiva loan, their businesses expanded both in size and quality. With this new loan, they will be able to further expand their businesses, make more profit and consequently improve their standard of living.
