A loan of $600 helped to buy clothes for men, women and children.

Célida's story

Señora Célida, aged 33, is married and the mother of three children. She sells all kinds of clothes. She began her activity more than three years ago, thanks to financial support from her husband. Currently, she owns a prosperous business. The daily income from it enables her to pay the school fees for her two daughters, one of 10 years and one of 13.

Célida sells her merchandise in a large room in her house. She sells clothes for men, women and children, such as T-shirts, shirts, dresses and suits.

One of her greatest desires is to make her own clothes for sale, since she is quite knowledgeable about haute couture, after having learnt the skill at previous workplaces. She thanks the microfinance institution Fundación Paraguaya for the provided opportunity.
