A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase farming supplies and feed for his animals.

Angel Oswaldo's story

Angel Oswaldo is 45 years old, married, and lives with his wife and children in the canton of Guaranda in Bolivar Province. He and his wife have five children.

The members of the Communal Bank “Grupo Pucara” meet in the community of Pucara, Guanujo Parish, Guaranda Canton. This area is located 15 minutes away from the office of Cooperativa San Jose. The 22 members of this group engage in agriculture, livestock breeding, and selling legumes.

Angel is a farmer and livestock breeder. He has 18 plots of land designated for growing potatoes and providing open pasture. In addition, he has 10 dairy cows that he will take to market. He purchases his supplies at the market in Guaranda and then sells his products at the wholesale market in the same city.

Angel is requesting a loan to buy supplies and feed for his animals. The support he is receiving through this loan will help meet his financial needs. Among the challenges he faces are pests, diseases, and changes in weather. His dreams include improving his business, buying more cattle, and helping his children with their studies.

Angel enjoys spending time with his family and celebrating the carnival festivities.
