A loan of $2,325 helped a member to buy a variety of plants.

Nueva Esperanza Group's story

The Nueva Esperanza gropu is made up of 18 women who decided to form a solidarity group for lending, in hopes of improving their lives. The group is in its first loan cycle and all the members are hardworking and responsible women who are committed to supporting one another.

Sully is requesting a loan to purchase a variety of plants to sell, such as roses, orchids, and daisies. Through her hard work she hopes to contribute financially to her family's wellbeing.

Although this is the group's first loan request, all the women have responsibly repaid previous loans, according to their credit history and references. They hope to receive the support of Kiva and Fundación Paraguaya.
