A loan of $350 helped to buy a sewing machine.

Mouhamadou's story

Mouhamadou was born on 8th July 1974 and is married to Faossath, a trader. The couple has five children in its care, all at school, and four of which are their own children. Mouhamadou lives with his wife and children. He and his wife provide for their family's needs between them. Mouhamadou went to primary school only, and then learned how to sew, a business which he has been carrying out for the past sixteen years and which enables him to provide for his needs and those of his children. In parallel with this activity, Mouhamadou sells telephone recharge cards. He gets his supplies in Nigeria, a neighboring state of Benin. It is the second time that Mouhamadou is requesting a loan from Alidé. This loan will allow him to get better equipment for his workshop in the form of the acquisition of a sewing machine, and to be able to satisfy better his customers.
