The JOLI group is composed of 4 women (3 married and 1 single) who average 27 years of age and 3 children. They live in monogamous families in SANOUBOUGOU II, a district of the city of Sikasso, 3rd administrative region of Mali.
This is the first time they collaborate with Soro Yiriwaso, a microfinance institution, in order to meet the needs of their customers. This group of women is in the fruit business with FATI.
With this loan, FATI intends on buying 750kg of potatoes. She buys them at the market in MEDINE. The potatoes are then sold retail and for cash, both at the station and door to door, to a clientele of men and women.
She expects to make a monthly profit of 30.000FCFA, which will be mostly used for her family's daily expenses.

Le groupe JOLI est constitué 3 femmes mariées et d’une célibataire, qui ont en moyenne 27 ans, 3 enfants et vivent dans des familles monogames à SANOUBOUGOU II un des quartiers de la ville de Sikasso 3ème région administrative du Mali.
Elles sont à leur première collaboration avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso afin de satisfaire le besoin de leur clientèle. Ce groupe de femmes fait le commerce de fruits avec FATI.
FATI, compte acheter avec son prêt, 750 Kg de pomme de terre. Elle s’approvisionne au marché de MEDINE. Les pommes de terre sont revendus à la gare et en famille à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes au comptant et en détail.
Elle envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel moyen de 30.000FCFA qu’elle compte utiliser pour les dépenses quotidiennes de la famille.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
