Gela's story

Gela is 23 years old, a craftsman from village Kisiskhevi, East Georgia. Gela is married and lives with his wife Anano and parents in the village.

He is a craftsman and makes various items from gypsum plaster. Besides his main handicraft, Gela is also busy with the agricultural business of the family. In particular, the family has a milk cow, three pigs, and two sheep. The family sells milk, piglets and lambs. The total income of the family is approximately 1200 Laris per month.

With the requested credit Gela will purchase calves to raise. After a year they will be milked and the family will be able to sell more milk. That will positively impact the family’s income. In the future Gela plans to further expand their dairy farm.
