A loan of $1,425 helped a member to buy required ingredients for food selling business.

Razia's Group's story

Razia is a housewife as well as a business woman. She operates a clothes-selling business. She purchases clothes from Lahore and Faisalabad and sells to her local area clients at a profit. She has a great business sense and she earns a good amount of money from her business every month.

Razia is the mother of a son who works in a Punjab food restaurant for a low income.

Her husband operates a food selling business. He sells a Punjabi food called "Naan Chaney" (made with chick peas and served with bread) on his cart. He starts his work early in the morning and sells by visiting different streets of the city.

She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for the betterment of her husband’s business. Through the loan, he will buy required ingredients such as chick peas, cooking oil and spices, etc. to prepare a larger quantity of food and earn more profits by selling.

He has been operating this business for the past 20 years and Razia is confident about the financial growth of his business as a result of an investment.
