A loan of $450 helped to buy a new serger and sewing supplies.

Gisèle's story

Gisèle was born on October 12, 1967. Gisèle is married to a pharmacy officer and takes care of four children, who do not go to school. Gisèle and her husband live with the children they are taking care of. Gisèle stopped attending school at the secondary level and then learned how to sew, which she has been doing for 15 years, and which has enabled her to provide for herself. On the side, Gisèle sells drinks (hibiscus tea, lollipops, ice cream, etc.) from home. Gisèle buys her supplies from Cotonou, economic capital of Bénin. In order to meet the needs of her customers, Gisèle is requesting a loan for the second time. She will use this loan to equip her sewing room with a new serger.
