Charen is 29 years old and married with five children. She works hard to provide for her family. She runs a sari-sari (variety) store in the Philippines and requested a 18,000 PHP loan through NWTF to purchase more stock to sell.
Charen has borrowed and paid six loans from NWTF before this loan. She has been running the sari-sari store for two years and also earns an income from ready-to-wear clothing.
She aspires to save enough money so she can afford to send her children to college.
