A loan of $1,000 helped to buy rolls of fabric and lining to make jackets.

Alberto's story

Mr. Alberto is an old client of this institution, and has a good record for repayments and a kind demeanor. Mr. Alberto has his own dressmaking workshop in his home. He works with the help of his wife and two children, and they make jackets to order or for sale. They begin working in their small workshop at 8:00 am, and finish their work at 10:00 pm. They sell their goods in the city of Oruro-Bolivia because it has a busy market and there is little competition. With the money from the loan, he will buy fabric and lining to make jackets. The family’s biggest dream is to have stable assets, and to have their children have professional careers. Because of this, they work hard every day. Mr. Alberto is thankful that the institution offers them support.
