Lluvia Group's story

The Lluvia group is made up of three hard-working and entrepreneurial women: Lorena, Flor de María and Zoyla. They have benefited from loans and also training workshops in which they have learned self esteem and how to run their businesses.

The group's coordinator is 38 year-old Lorena who has owned a tortilla bakery for 10 years. She has five children aged 21, 18, 15, 13 and 11 who are in school and help her in her business.

The other members of the group are 42 year-old Flor de María who sells firewood, ice and chocolate-covered bananas, and 39 year-old Zoyla who has been selling clothes for six years.
