A loan of $3,100 helped a member to buy fabrics and sarongs to resell, and to pay school fees for her children.

Twidike Group's story

Florian, who is in her early forties, is a divorcee with two children. She has been selling fabrics and sarongs since 1991. She works from 8.00am to 2.30pm(for six and half hours) daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit.

This will be Florian's 1st loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She plans to use this loan to increase her stock of fabrics and sarongs, and to pay school fees for her children. Her dream is to one day build a house of her own.

Florian will share this loan with her loan group, "Twidike", which has a total of 16 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back their loans.
