A loan of $1,200 helped to purchase glass for greenhouse renovations.

Teimuraz's story

Teimuraz is a 31-year-old farmer from the village of Mukhrani. He lives with his wife, Gvantsa, two sons (6 and 7 years old) and his parents. Both of the children go to school.

Teimuraz is busy trading – he buys cement in Kaspi or Gori (nearby towns) and sells it in his village. Also he has two milk cows. He uses the milk for cheese production. The cheese is sold locally. Also, the family owns a greenhouse where tomatoes and tomato seedlings are grown. He sells the vegetables in his village at the open market and the seedlings are sold in the next village.

With the requested loan, Teimuraz plans to purchase glass for the greenhouse, as some of the old panes are damaged and need to be replaced. After the renovation, the required temperature will be maintained in the greenhouse and more, better quality tomatoes will be grown. It will positively affect the income of the family.
