A loan of $925 helped to buy more toiletries, provisions and drinks for her business.

Aminata's story

This is 40 year-old Aminata, who is married to a businessman and has two children aged 13 and 11 years. She has one additional dependent, her husband’s niece, living with them so she can attend a good school. In 2006, Aminata established her provisions, drinks and toiletries business as a means of earning enough income to help her husband provide for their family. Working 7 days a week and 16 hours a day, she earns about Le 1,700,000 every month from this business.

Aminata is requesting a loan of Le 4,000,000 to buy more foodstuffs and drinks for her business. She hopes that this loan will enable her to increase her monthly profits by approximately Le 200,000. In the future, she plans to send her children to the University of Sierra Leone. Aminata thanks you for your support.
