Enhtuya's story

Enhtuya is 49 years old and lives with her husband in a ger, a Mongolian yurt, in Govi-Altai Province in Mongolia. Her children are all grown and live separately.

Enhtuya manages a meat and dairy product trading business with the help of her husband, a business she started in 1990. At that time her working capital was 150,000 MNT, and she sold only meat. In 2003 she began selling dairy products to supplement her earnings. She managed to improve her business and bought one more stall to increase her sales channels. She travels to the countryside of Mongolia to purchase animals for her business.

A friendly woman who says, "I want to buy a house for my younger son," Enhtuya is requesting a 2,500,000 MNT loan to purchase a large amount of meat for her business.
