The Fadilia Group consists of four hardworking and enterprising women who are originally from Masaya. They have worked with ADIM for seven loan cycles. The group coordinator is Sra. Ana Patricia. She started her business five years ago with an inventory of clothing worth 3000 cordobas. Now she invests approximately 7000 cordobas and already has a large customer base.

Ana Patricia has five children (ages 18, 17, 15, 13, and 10) who are in school. Her goal is to increase her business.

The other members are as follows:
• Cinthya, age 22, has been selling fruits and vegetables for six years.
• Yelba buys and sells milk.
• Kenia Isabel, age 23, sells used clothing.

El grupo Fadilia lo conforman cuatro mujeres trabajadoras y emprendedoras originarias de Masaya, ellas tienen siete ciclos de trabajar con Adim. La coordinadora del grupo es la señora Ana Patricia quien hace 5 años inicio con 3,000 córdobas en mercadería de ropa actualmente ella invierte aproximadamente unos 7,000 córdobas ya que tiene mayor clientela.
Ella tiene cinco hijos de las edades 18, 17, 15, 13 y 10 años los cuales estudian y su meta es aumentar su negocio.
Las otras integrantes son Cinthya de 22 años desde hace seis años se dedica a la venta de frutas y verduras, Yelva compra y vende leche y Kenia Isabel de 23 años comercializa ropa usada.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
