Gloria Isabel's story

Gloria L. is a member of the Cumbe communal bank. She lives in the San Antonio area in Cumbe parish. This parish has a cold climate but its people are very warm and they work in the business of raising animals and farming. This parish has lovely places to visit and to appreciate its natural beauty.

Gloria is 32, married, and she has 2 children: 12 and 11. Her oldest son is in secondary school and her youngest son is in a city school. Her husband is a bricklayer. They are building their own house but currently they live with a relative.
Gloria has worked selling animals for the past 5 years. She sells, chickens, pigs, guinea pigs, etc on market days and also she uses them for food.

She has been with the communal bank for 6 years and she will use her new loan to buy more animals such as chickens, guinea pigs, pigs, etc. for her business.

Her goal is to have her own car.
