A loan of $750 helped to replace his roof.

Aurelio's story

Aurelio is 44 years old and lives in the rural area of Lambayeque district, in a small community of 200 families.

Aurelio is a kind and hard-working person who gives his all for his family and friends. More than six years ago, Aurelio realized that raising and selling animals provided him with rewards that he previously had not been able to achieve. He therefore decided to raise sheep in an area behind his house. Aurelio knows this business to perfection as he saw his parents carry out the same business when he used to live with them. He also makes additional income from working as a day laborer on people's farms.

As a result of selling his animals and carrying out farm work, Aurelio managed to save up to make some improvements that he has gradually been carrying out on his home. Now Aurelio would like to replace his roof. For this reason, he has requested a loan for 2,000 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa. He will invest this money in buying corrugated metal sheets and trusses which will allow him to better build his roof.

Aurelio is very grateful for this loan as it will help him to improve his quality of life.
