The 'Grupo de Mujeres Carbon Chinipamba' community bank is located in Carbón Chinipamba neighborhood, in Cuatro Esquinas sector, in Guaranda canton, twenty minutes from Cooperativa's offices. Most of the members of the bank work in farming, livestock raising and sales. They produce rice, barley, beans, quinoa, potatoes and animals such as dairy cows and farmyard animals.

María farms crops. She has a piece of land where she sows all barley, potatoes, corn, peas and wheat. The land belongs to her parents. She has six head of cattle, pigs, sheep and chickens. She makes her purchases in Guaranda market and makes her sales in the city's wholesale market.

María is requesting this loan to buy supplies and feed for her animals. The support of this loan will help her to financially cover her needs. She faces challenges such as pests, plant diseases and changes in the weather. Her dream is to provide her children with an education.

María enjoys listening to music and visiting her parents.
