A loan of $3,000 helped to install a door, a sign and a shade for his store.

Alamiyya's story

Alamiyya is a 56-year-old mother of three daughters and three sons. Alamiyya's husband runs a small grocery store next to a wedding hall that attracts a good number of customers.

Alamiyya took out a loan from FATEN to help her husband add a few improvements to the store. He wants to install a shade, fix the door and have a sign in front of the store.

Alamiyya's husband appears in the picture, as she is a religious woman. Her husband covers the household expenses from the store's income and pays for his youngest daughter education fees.
