A loan of $1,100 helped to purchase vanilla extract, stout, sugar, eggs, carob flavoring, milk, beets, carrots, apples, honey, and a waffle iron.

Yerli's story

Sra. Yerli is a member of the Communal Bank “El Arenal” which is in the District of Calleria, Department of Ucayali. She is 44 years old, married, and has four children. Only two are still under her care.

Yerly has been working with Manuela Ramos for four years. She has a business selling juices and empanadas. Since she works from home, there is no need for her to leave.

With this new loan of 3000 PEN, she will buy the following items: one bottle of vanilla extract, one case of stout, a half sack of sugar, five dozen eggs, one bottle of carob flavoring, one case of milk, two kilos of beets, two kilos of carrots, five kilos of apples, one bottle of honey, and a waffle iron.

Yerly works every day, but only until noon. She takes advantage of her afternoons to take care of her home and to purchase supplies for the following day. Yerli is grateful to Manuela Ramos for helping her maintain her business and would like to express her thanks.
