A loan of $550 helped to purchase balanced poultry feed to sell.

Teresa's story

Teresa is a 40-year-old mother who lives in her own home with her husband and two young children. They reside in the rural section of the District of Mórrope in Lambayeque. This is a small community where the people work extremely hard.

Teresa sells poultry feed for fattening birds as they grow. She also sells medicines used in their care. She has been in business for four years and conducts her sales from her home.

Teresa experiences a good level of demand since Mórrope is mainly devoted to agriculture and livestock breeding. Most of the local families raise animals to sell. Teresa also has a chicken coop where she raises poultry to sell.

She is requesting a loan from Edpyme Alternativa in the amount of 1500 PEN to invest in the purchase of balanced feed for fattening. She will sell this in her business, as well as set aside a portion to feed her own birds.

Teresa is a long-time client of Edpyme Alternativa and possesses a good credit history.
