A loan of $1,125 helped to buy stock items for her store.

Adriana María's story

Adriana was employed for 19 years in a food distribution firm. However, the owners had to liquidate the business giving their employees the opportunity to continue operating the locales where the business used to be. Since then, Adriana was able to start her own business which is located in Itagüí, a town in the Medellín Metropolitan Area.

Adriana is a micro businesswoman who works daily from 8am until 7pm with the hope of gradually increasing business. She feels fortunate to be independent because she not only generates income for her family’s sustenance but she is forming a legacy so that in the future this could become a family business. Adriana is the mother of two children and she dreams with providing them with a better quality of life.

Currently, with the hope of seeing her chicken sales grow, Adriana must stock a certain amount of products that generate higher profits and which will help her store stand out. However, she does not have the necessary capital to make this investment so needs a loan.
