A loan of $925 helped to improve the interior of her home.

Blanca Graciela's story

Blanca is 30 years old and single. She owns her own home which has piped water and electricity, and is located in Mórrope district, some 40 minutes from Lambayeque department. The residents of this area work in farming, livestock raising and handicrafts.

Blanca has been raising and selling animals (sheep and poultry) for six years. Her farmyard is located outside her home. She feeds her animals balanced feed, grains and natural pasture. Once they have reached an ideal size and weight, she sells them in her district market or to traders from outside her area. Her sales provide her with income which she uses to cover all her daily expenses.

Blanca has requested a loan for 2,500 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa to carry out some repairs inside her home, especially to her living room which needs flooring and other finishing touches. With the sale of her animals, she will be able to repay her loan and improve her quality of life. Blanca has achieved what she has thanks to her effort, hard work and responsibility.
