Ramzana's Group's story

Ramzana is a housewife who stays at home and does her household responsibilities. Her husband sells milk from his shop, which is located in the market. Ramzana is 33 years old and a mother of three children. Two of them are enrolled in a local school and getting their education. Ramzana wants to send her younger daughter to school. She wants to help her husband improve his business so she has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah. With the loan, her husband will purchase milk in larger quantity, which will help him increase his sales and improve his income. He has been operating this business for the past 10 years and it is going reasonably well for him. Ramzana hopes that after the loan, it will further improve and she will be able to send her younger daughter to school.

She lives in a city called Arifwala, which is located in Punjab, Pakistan and known for its dairy industry. Her house contains three rooms and she moved here 10 years ago.
