Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The "Mujeres Emprendedoras" of Asunción group is made up of fifteen women from the community. They are involved in a variety of activities. María A., for example, has a sewing shop, where she makes all kinds of clothing for her clients. She is a dressmaker well-known for the delicacy and perfectionism with which she makes her items. She would like to have more fabrics so she can make additional products and offer her clients wider variety.

Most of the "Mujeres Emprendedoras" are mothers, some of them single. Getting a loan is important to all of them because it would mean more income, and would help them get supplies for their businesses.

The members are noted for their effort; they have to bring home the bacon every day while looking for ways to educate their children so they can be successful.
