A loan of $375 helped to buy groceries (rice and sugar).

Benicio's story

Benicio is 39 years old. He lives a relative’s house in the Olmos district in Lambayeque. Benicio lives in the urban part of this district, and he has basic services.

Benicio has had a grocery store (rice, sugar, oil) for six years, and he has established customers. Benicio makes the purchases for his grocery store in the Olmos district. However, once a month he buys in Chiclayo because he finds a greater variety of products, and at times, lower prices there. Benicio has always stocked his business with his own capital. However, he does not have enough now.

Benicio is requesting a loan for 1,000 soles from Edpyme Alternativa. He will use the loan to buy products for his grocery store. His demand has grown, and the sugar and rice prices have increased.

Benicio would be very grateful for this loan because it would keep him from disappointing his customers.
