A loan of $550 helped to acquire balanced feed for her animals.

Maria Bertha's story

María is 57 years old. She lives with her common-law husband and two children in her own home which is located in a village called Huáscar, in Tambogrande district. This is a medium-sized, developing village.

María raises and sells pigs, young animals and poultry. She raises hens, ducks and turkeys in an area behind her home and, when the animals have reached a good level of development, she offers them for sale to the traders who usually visit her area. She has more than five years experience in this line of work.

María would like to acquire balanced feed for her pigs and poultry since her demand has increased. For this reason, she has requested a loan for 1,500 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa.

María is a mother who is committed to her family and always watches over their well-being and development. People who know her have a lot of respect and affection for her.
