Nelly Esperanza's story

Miss Nelly is a member of the communal bank "San Jose". She lives in the community of San Pedro, belonging to the Santa Ana sector. This is known to be a cold climate sector and it is known for the beautiful scenery of natural beauty and from the downtown of the sector a large part of the city of Cuenca can be admired. The population is very hard working and they maintain their culture and their traditions.

Nelly is 21 years old and she is the single mother of a 3-year old boy. She lives with her parents and she contributes financially. Her mother provides cleaning services and her father is an agriculturist. The house where she lives belongs to her parents.

Nelly works in a children's day care. She is in the business because she loves children. She has been working there for 7 months, working from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.

It is the second loan she accesses through her communal bank and she will invest it in the purchase of pigs to start a business.

Her goal is to have a house of her own.
