A loan of $375 helped to buy a batch of merchandise for her business.

Ermelinda's story

Ermelinda is a 60 year-old lady who lives with her husband in Tambogrande district - Piura. Ermelinda has always been a hard-working and entrepreneurial woman. Her neighbors know her as a kind person who is always ready to help.

For five years, Ermelinda has owned a grocery / general store business which is located in the living room of her home. Ermelinda's store is one of the best-stocked in her area. She serves in her store every day. For this reason, she has a lot of demand and regular customers.

Ermelinda is requesting a loan for 1,000 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa. She will use this money to buy a batch of merchandise (essential household products). This will allow her to increase her inventory and, thereby, her sales so that she can continue growing in her business.

Ermelinda is an existing client of our institution and has been punctual in making her repayments.
