Vakhtang is a 50-year-old small businessman from Lanchkhuti District, West Georgia. He is married and lives with his wife Maguli and 25-year-old daughter.
Vakhtang owns a vulcanization service workshop in the village. He has been involved in this business for five years. It brings the family on average 550 Laris per month. In addition, he is actively involved in the family agricultural business. They produce and sell dairy products from the milk of two cows. The family also has a plot of agricultural land where they grow maize and nuts. Harvested corn and nuts are sold on the local market.
With the loan, Vakhtang plans to renovate the workshop and purchase new equipment. As a result of this investment, he will be able to provide better quality service to the customers and his workshop will become more competitive, attracting new customers. An increase in clients will bring positive changes to the family’s income. They will be able to purchase more household items and improve their living conditions.
