A loan of $1,075 helped to buy food for her animals and to build a new corral.

Victoria's story

Victoria, age 36, is married and has two minor children. Victoria lives in her own house in the rural zone of Carachuco. It is 25 minutes from the Mórrope district, and it has basic services like water and electricity. It is a small community with approximately 300 families.

Victoria has been doing agricultural work since she was very young. Her main activity is raising animals, especially birds, sheep, and pigs in some corrals at her house. She feeds them grains and natural fodder. When they have reached a good level of development, she sells them to the businessmen who frequently visit the zone where she lives. Victoria has been doing this for over 16 years. During that time she has acquired fixed customers and a lot more experience in this field.

Victoria wishes to buy balanced feed for pigs and birds. She also wants to build more secure corrals in order to safeguard her small livestock. Victoria is requesting a loan for 3,000 soles from Edpyme Alternativa. This way she will be able to cover all of the expenses.

Victoria is a woman who is well-known for her enthusiasm; her responsibility; and above all, for her dedication to her work.
