A loan of $900 helped to purchase natural organic coffee.

Elenn Rosario's story

Elenn Rosario, age 48, is a member of the communal bank “Virgen D. la Inmaculada”; the bank is located in the Tarapoto district of the San Martin province, which is located in the department of San Martin. Elenn is married and has three children: two sons are already grown and independent; only the younger 16-year-old daughter is in her care and is currently in secondary school.

Elenn had the idea for her business as was researching on the internet topics regarding the importance that people give to natural products. Following up on this with the help of her husband, who studied business administration, Elenn researched the market and decided to do a wholesale purchase of healthy coffee (Lingzhi) in order to commercialize it to auto service stations and various markets in the Tarapoto district.

Elenn will use the loan of 2,500 soles to purchase a hundred boxes of organic natural coffee in order to expand her market to regional level. She is gaining new clients every day, and it is very important to her that they remain satisfied with her services. Elenn is a creative woman and a dreamer. She feels happy about continuing to work in order to realize her dreams. She is very grateful to the Manuela Ramos organization for providing help and development opportunities to women like her.
