Afi's story

Wife of a driver and the mother of three children, Afi is 43 and sells daily-use condiments, i.e., hot peppers, fresh tomatoes, etc. She has been in this business since 1990 and, using this second loan, she would like to branch out and sell some other food items such as rice, vegetable oil, etc. She resells at the Hédzranawoé open-air market after buying her merchandise at the Grand Market of Lomé.
