A loan of $450 helped to buy more clothing merchandise for her business.

Rust Abigail's story

Rust, age 27, is homemaker and lives in her own house with her husband and children. The only utility she has is electricity since she lives in the rural community of Papayo del Algarrobo which is in the district of Tambogrande, about 40 minutes from the department of Piura. In this area most of the locals are involved in agriculture, livestock farming and crafts.

Rust sells clothing for a living and began the business three years ago in her home. She also sells some food products to attract more customers and increase her income to cover household expenses.

Having observed that her business gets more profitable each day, Rust thought it was a good idea to request a loan in the amount of 1,200 PEN through Edpyme Alternativa so she can buy more merchandise and stock her store with innovative products. This way her customer base will grow so she can pay off her loan and improve her family's lifestyle, in a responsible manner with considerable effort and hard work.
