A loan of $550 helped to buy a leather cutter and work tools.

Jose Manuel's story

José lives in Eten District in Chiclayo. He’s 36 years old and lives with his wife, who’s a Seamstress, and with their minor son. José’s wife helps him economically with the work she does at home for the family’s wellbeing.

For the last ten years José has been a Shoe Repairman. He has a lot of experience in this kind of work and has a stand (which he leases) on a street in Monsefú-Lambayeque. José is very well known in the area and this is reflected in the large number of customers that request his services.

José is asking Edpyme Alternativa for a 1500 new sol loan to buy supplies for his business like: leather, soles, thread and adhesives but, above all, to buy an “esmeril” (a type of emery file used by shoemakers to cut leather).

José has only worked with Edpyme Alternativa and the loans our institution has granted him have been repaid punctually.
