A loan of $725 helped to invest in the sowing of hectares of rice in the northern part of the country.

Rosana's story

40-year-old Rosana is a simple and hard-working woman. She lives in her own home along with her 46-year-old husband Juan and her dear children Katherine (18) and Jefferson (13) who she desires to provide with a better quality of life. For 10 years, she has sold rice, investing in the hectares of cropland in the Northern part of the country, specifically in the city of Chiclayo where the crops are bountiful, and therefore they need large investment. That is why Rosana travels constantly, leaving her family, which is very difficult as she wishes to be all the time with her little ones. However, this has not been an obstacle; rather it has been motivation to get ahead since she knows that all these sacrifices are for her children, so that they can become professionals. Rosana and her husband work together to make this a reality and are very happy because they know that by working very hard they will achieve their objectives. This is the fifth loan with MFP and she has always been very punctual with her previous payments. The two thousand new Peruvian soles requested will be invested in the sowing of hectares of rice that she has in the north of the country to thus obtain good income.
