Nafore Group's story

The Naforé group was created on November 15, 2006 upon the inauguration of the Banc Villageois. It is composed of ten women, all from the same neighborhood. The group members share family ties. Their main activity is small trade.

Mrs. Ndoumbé D. (standing second from the left in the photo, and shown inset at the bottom right) is the group leader. She is 59 years old, married, and the mother of two children.

She sells vegetables and various items both from her home and at the market. With ten years of experience, she has a good command of her activity.

This new loan will help to bolster her small business of vegetable sales. She wants to help her husband to provide food and health care for their family.
