A loan of $725 helped to buy materials for embroidering garments.

Ana's story

36 year-old Ana is a very humble and hard-working woman. She lives in her own home and what she wishes for more than anything is to do well in life. For some years she has been embroidering dresses. This is an activity that takes practically all day since she must be very meticulous in putting the finishing touches to her work. The way Ana works is that she receives orders from different salespeople who provide her with a certain quantity of garments for her to decorate with different and original embroidery work. Her job is to make the garments more striking.

Ana enjoys her work a lot because she is able to put all her creativity into it, doing the work according to her own taste. However, the difficult part of her work is having to strain her eyes in order to string the beads with which she decorates the garments because they are very small.

This is Ana's fifth loan from MFP and she has always been very punctual in making her repayments. She will use the 2,000 Peruvian soles she has requested to buy materials for decorating the garments that she is given, so that she can obtain better results.
