Baktygul's Group's story

Baktygul M. is the leader of this group. She is 46 and married to a farmer. She has a daughter and two sons. The daughter is married and lives separately with her family. The first son works as a security guard and the second son studies at school.

Baktygul, together with her husband, cultivates agricultural products. She has been doing it since 1991. Her husband also earns money for the family budget by transporting passengers from Balykchi to Bishkek.

With money received from the loan, Baktygul wants to purchase potato and wheat seeds. In the future, she plans to improve the family’s living conditions and provide her younger son a good education.
