Lizbeth's story

Lisbeth is 27 years old. She lives with her mother and her son in her mother's house. For the past year and a half she has been selling crafts that she makes herself. Her mother helps her with the business and after a week's worth of intense work she travels to the city of Lima to sell them in the city's crafts market. The crafts that she makes are in great demand and she enjoys frequent sales and more orders placed force her to increase production. She considers her work to be profitable because she recovers her investments and she also works in the comfort of her home, and above all, she works independently. In the future what she wants most is to increase production. This is her second loan with MFP (Kiva Field Partner). She is relatively new in her communal bank but she is very happy because she enjoys being a part of it. All of the members are individuals whom she knows. They are responsible and supportive. She is thankful to those individuals who will contribute to the loan which she requests. it will be very helpful in the progress of her business. The loan that she requests will be invested in the purchase of products she needs to create her crafts.
