Battulga is 38 years old and lives with his wife and two children in a ger, a Mongolian traditional nomadic housing tent, in Govi-Altai Province, Mongolia. His two children, ages 13 and 16, both attend local secondary school.

With the help of his older brother, Battulga manages a wooden product-making business that he started in 2007; his wife helps to paint and wax those products. After gaining much experience and building up his clientele, he was able to move his production from his backyard to a workshop ger. Battulga now owns sufficient equipment to produce quality wooden products that are well-known amongst his customers.

An honest and hardworking man who says, "Life is good," he is requesting a 3,000,000 MNT loan to purchase a large amount of wood for his business.
