A loan of $200 helped to purchase candy and sodas.

Sabina's story

Sabina is 35 years old and lives with her daughter in the home of a relative. For the past two years, she has been selling candy as a street vendor. Sabina has a small mobile stand that she sets up in front of schools and other learning centers. Every day she arrives very early with her stand before the students start classes and then stays until she has completed two shifts. Her work requires great effort, but the drive to move forward is what motivates her to continue. For this reason, she is always concerned about making sure her business is stocked with different food products and candies. These products make her work profitable. At the moment, her top priority is acquiring a cart for transporting candy.

This is her 14th loan with MFP. Sabina is very pleased to be a member of her Communal Bank because she gets to work as part of a team. She is grateful to be part of a group because it has helped her have better control over her finances. As a result, she promises to be prompt with her payments during this loan cycle. The loan she is requesting will be invested in the purchase of candy and sodas in bulk.
