A loan of $550 helped to buy building materials.

Ana's story

Ana is 28 years old and is a simple happy woman. She lives in a home of her own and is very willing to work hard to get ahead in life. She makes jewelry, like pearl necklaces, sequin, bracelets, necklaces, etc. She sells her jewelry to many people, who give her a good price for her work. She enjoys selling, especially when she sells out, which happens often.

At the moment she lives with three brothers, but her house is wood and adobe, which makes her feel insecure. For this reason she would like to make improvements so that she can provide a more comfortable place to live for her brothers.

The most challenging part about her work is transporting her jewelry to the points of sale because it’s tiring and transportation is very expensive. She’s been doing this for two years and homes to increase the amount of jewelry she makes, because she knows that this is the only way that she can improve her finances.

This will be her first loan through MFP and she is prepared to repay the loan. She will use the 1,500 PEN to buy building materials to improve her home.
