A loan of $550 helped to send her car to the garage.

Maria's story

María is 43 years old. She is a simple and hard-working woman who lives in her own home together with her husband José and her beloved son David who is 24. She would like to provide her family with a better quality of life.

For six years, María has been managing a taxi as well as working as a teacher in a local elementary school. She and her husband own the taxi and he drives it every day from very early in the morning until late in the evening as the money that he makes is important in supporting their family. In the future, María would like to have a more profitable business that she can carry out at home. For this reason, she is saving up the money she needs in order to do this. However, she knows that everything is achieved through a lot of effort and commitment. She and her husband both work hard to achieve their goals.

This is María's fifth loan from MFP and she pledges to be very punctual in making her loan repayments. She will use the 1,500 Peruvian soles she has requested to send her car to the garage to be repaired so that they can provide a better service with it.
