A loan of $550 helped to purchase corn for making tortillas and merchandise for her grocery store.

María Esperanza's story

María Esperanza is 53 years old and resides in her own home with her life partner, her three children, and two grandchildren. Doña María is an incredible woman and an example of how hard work can help with the household finances and provide one’s family with a better quality of life. She has a tortilla stand and a small store where she offers basic necessities. Her customers prefer to do business with her because of her friendliness and good service. As a result, her clientele has grown. María is an enterprising woman and has no plans of quitting despite her age.

Her dream is to improve the quality of life of her loved ones. For this reason, she is requesting a loan from Apoyo Integral so that she can buy what she needs to restock her store such as oil, rice, sugar, beans, salt, coffee, as well as corn for making her delicious tortillas. With this assistance, she hopes to generate more income so that she can continue supporting her family.
