Las Lideres De America Group's story

Nelly is 51 years old, she is a single mother with six children only one of which depends on her. She is an enterprising and courageous woman. Nelly has been selling kebabs- a typical dish in the region - for more than three years. She started this business due to the need to support her children since she is a single mother but she is very happy because thanks to her work she has been able to give her children a good education. Currently, she covers the household expenses and her plan for the future is to have her own stall where she can continue selling kebabs. She will invest this loan in purchasing supplies to make kebabs. The group "Las Líderes de América" (leaders of America) has been made up of eight people for eight months. They are all neighbors and some are family members. The group is so named because they want progress in their area and the economic development of each member.

In this group: Nelly, Jackeline, Estephanie, Margot Jacqueline, Sara, Sara Magaly, Chris Steffi, Gilda Digna
